  • Yes, we provide a limited lifetime warranty for our Forefront Cabinet Recrafting services, covering materials and workmanship. We want you to feel confident in your investment.

  • With our Forefront approach, NO permits are typically required as we are re-using/maintaining the existing structures and generally not making any major layout changes to your kitchen. If you decide to choose a full kitchen tear-out, permits may be required depending on the extent of the remodel, especially if structural, plumbing, or electrical changes are involved.

  • Start by researching local companies with positive reviews and solid portfolios. Verify their licenses and insurance, request multiple quotes, and ask for references. Communication is key, so choose a contractor who understands your vision and budget. At Ackley, we make this process easy for you and can provide multiple local references/referrals upon request.

  • Prepare by setting up a temporary kitchen with essential appliances like a microwave and mini-fridge. Clear out the kitchen area, protect adjoining rooms with plastic sheeting, and communicate schedules with all your contractors to minimize disruptions.
