When researching options, our Katonah NY client contacted us with a desire to save/re-use their solid oak cabinet boxes, but completely wanting to transform the overall kitchen look and functionality. Scott created a refreshed design that included reconfiguring the lower cabinet doors to wide, deep drawer banks and incorporating pull-out shelving to maximize the interior space in the island. The outdated desk area was also converted to additional cabinetry storage and a dry bar area for entertaining. We assisted in coordinating the new appliance selections, new marble countertop and full backsplash installation, and plumbing/electrical placements.
This beautiful kitchen features our custom “Oxford” door style with inset cabinet frames and sleek square openings for a modernized look. The main kitchen is finished in Ben Moore “Super White” and the bar area & scullery cabinetry showcases Ben Moore “Kendall Charcoal.” A masterful complete transformation was achieved in less than 1 month for our client, all while saving/preserving their existing high quality cabinet boxes.
